Historical fiction transports readers to another place and time. The storytelling gives insight into the past, clarity in the present, and foreknowledge of the future. Human emotions are timeless, as is entertainment. Yet, now more than ever, as our culture reflects on past eras, there’s also value in shining a light on a time, place, and people that provide moments of reflection and discussion.
Thrillers, in the form of fiction, are another genre, in addition to accompanying series, that appeal to our readers. The thrillers have ranged from those in the war, military, and action/adventure categories to those set in specific cultural communities and locations, such as those centered on surfing.
Silverlight Press is very selective in our review of the fiction submissions and subsequent invitations to such authors. We are also most interested in the book adaptations of these literary works for other media and formats, such as film, television, streaming programs, and the stage.
Book and Screenplay Adaptations from Page to Premiere are a primary focus not only with fiction novels but also true stories and narrative-driven manuscripts authored by writers who see “beyond the page”-Film, television, stage, and immersive experiential productions.
